North Yorkshire Open Studios 2010
Friday 11, Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 and Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 June
Studios will be open between 10.30am and 5.30pm each day
The Open Studios event is a great opportunity to visit Fiona's studio and see
her at work. This is a chance to meet our artist in residence, ask questions,
touch and see the smaller version of our sculpture being created.
Address: No. 2 Thornton House, Thornton-in-Craven, Skipton. BD23 3TB
Directions: No. 2 Thornton House is in the centre of Thornton-in-Craven village
on the A56 between the top of Boothbridge Lane and the bus stop. Enter through
the tall, metal gate, down two stone steps and follow the garden path to the studio.
Over the past five years, North Yorkshire Open Studios has become a major event
in the country's cultural calendar, showcasing the work of over one hundred selected
artists and makers each year and attracting a growing audience from far and wide.
North Yorkshire Open Studios is organised by Art Connections, a Chrysalis Arts
project, in partnership with Arts in Richmondshire, Create, and Rural Arts.
