This week our archeologists have been on site inspecting and recording the boathouses. They haven't found anything didn't expect to find, however the deatils they have uncovered allow us to better understand how the boat houses were used. Week commencing 21 June 2010
Currently we are still waiting for the silt to dry before we begin to remove
it onto nearby arable land. The exact date of silt removal has not been confirmed
yet, it could be July or August.The carriage drive on the east bank is being consolidated
with timber posts.
