Forming and nurturing links with children and adults is an important aspect of
the Trust's programme of work.
Fountains Abbey is always keen to support schools' education programmes and promote
activities which engage enquiring minds of all ages!
- We offer a series of activities for schools covering topics from the national
curriculum for Key Stages 1, 2 3 and 4.
Combine a guided activity with a self led trail to make a whole day trip to Fountains. Special
day long projects are also available including art workshops and Tudor period
drama with North Country Theatre.
All visits must be booked in advance with the Group Visits Organiser:
For further details on activities and projects, please contact the estate's Learning
